43-Pyeong Single-Story House in Myeongdal-ri

A 43-pyeong single-story house designed for ease of daily living

Myeongdal-ri, Seojong-myeon 43 pyeong (approx. 142 sqm) · single story · 3LDK Remote design · completed 2021 Long-term retirement residence

Project Summary

A single-story residence designed around ease of movement, sunlight, and calm views for a couple planning long-term living.

Challenge

Because the clients planned to age in place, the layout needed to work without stairs while still preserving daylight and a stable view experience.

Approach

Remote coordination was combined with careful response to site contours and sightlines, prioritizing movement comfort and open window relationships.

Outcome

The house became a restrained residential reference that shows how comfort, light, and view can stay balanced in a single-story format.
