Challenge

The existing frame had to be preserved without letting the work area and the living area interfere with each other.

Approach

Storage, lighting, and service planning were reset around the strongest parts of the original structure.

Outcome

The result became a useful renovation reference for clients considering how far an existing country house can be transformed.
